Morning flight to Gobi desert a cradle of dinosaurs, a basin of evaporated inland sea during natural evolution many years ago. A home bactrian camels and sand dunes.(1.5 hrs flight). Arrive in Gobi and transfer to tourist camp. Lunch. Afternoon visit to Vulture valley (Yoliin Am) /40 kms one way/, where you will find the gorges mountains Gurvansikhan /three beauties/ with glaciers, which remain frozen even in summer hottest days. Then, visit camel breeding family. Overnight at tourist camp in ger.
Visit Sand dunes and Bayan zag /80 km one way/, the site of ancient inland sea and the treasure chest of fossilized dinosaur bones, eggs among flaming cliffs, 1st excavated by American Natural history museum expedition lead by a traveler Roy Chapman Andrews. Box lunch. Back to the camp. Overnight at camp in gers.
Flight back to Ulaanbaatar. After arrival visit Gandan Monastery on the way to hotel. Hotel check-in and lunch at hotel. Visit Natural history museum, which displays findings related to dinosaurs’ excavations. After the museum shopping. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
